Hear what our past students had to say about us

I think without this opportunity I would be missing something because we all know that playing American basketball is a dream of every basketball player as for studies USA is ahead of us in education and technology. so I am grateful and it’s a great opportunity being in USA, and is helping to achieve more of my dreams, I am gaining a lot of experience and increasing my skills so that I can build my better future

My life would be different if I didn’t come to the U.S because I had the opportunities to play the sport that I love with the most competitive schools and having an education mostly for free and I believe the more I keep being focused it will definitely open doors for me both in basketball and education.
I always dreamed of coming to the united state for a long time and it happened because I believed and didn’t listen to the negative thoughts or critics of people telling me I couldn’t do it but I always kept my faith and prayed throughout the whole journey and kept myself surrounded by positive energy of people.
And I didn’t just dream to come here to just live here I came here to make my dream a reality and go back to my roots and try to make it a place where everyone else can come try to make their dreams a reality.

In my dreams i wanted to play basketball as pro or get as far as i can in the game of a basketball and use each and the every opportunity that i would have from basketball and use basketball as a tool this opportunity will change my life personally and my country in general cause there is the time i used to seat down and think why i’m playing basketball and remember that it’s someone who pushed me to love it me by myself i did and this will help me show what i can and i know i’ll get as much opportunity as i can out it. Placide is a good person who loves the game of basketball and helps youth, young people to meet their dreams of getting in the states that it one of the biggest thing everyone can’t try only people with heart and love of what they do can try that amd to me he is the man.

My life would be great. I had a big dream for myself and my parents kept me on track to a better future. I have the opportunity to travel and experience other cultures. It will help me improve my basketball skills. It will help me get my degree. Advice I will give to young talented kids in Rwanda is to look for other ways of solving problem. Traveling abroad is not the only way to success. We are better if only we can think and implement our thoughts. Also I will advice them to keep playing hard and keep learning more and to made themselves to be a vessel for the recruiter. First of all, I would like to thank Placide, for helping me get this opportunity and for believing in my ability.

Thank you my name is Sifa Ineza Joyeuse I don’t really think how my life would be in the future if I didn’t had the opportunity to come to USA because first of all they got better education that could help me in my future and above all they’ve got best skills in basketball . My dream is to be a professional athlete and I don’t think I could make it if I was still in Rwanda . But because I came here I’m pretty sure if I work hard I’ll finally make my dreams turn into reality. My advise to young talented kids in Rwanda is that they have to work hard because nothing is impossible unless you work for it , they should use the little time they get to work on their skills and always dream big . Lastly would like to thank my team for being my family I mean the hoops and on top of that the man himself Placide wouldn’t be where I am right now without him I don’t know what to say but may God bless him abundantly. Thank you so much.
